American Capital Agency Corp. Declares Monthly Common Stock Dividend of $0.20 per Common Share for December 2015 and Announces Estimated Net Book Value of $22.52 per Common Share as of November 30, 2015

BETHESDA, Md., Dec. 14, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- American Capital Agency Corp. (Nasdaq: AGNC) ("AGNC" or the "Company") announced today that its Board of Directors has declared a cash dividend of $0.20 per share of common stock for December 2015.  The dividend is payable on January 8, 2016 to common stockholders of record as of December 31, 2015, with an ex-dividend date of December 29, 2015.

The Company also announced today its estimated net book value of $22.52 per share of common stock as of November 30, 2015.  The estimated net book value per common share is the Company's total estimated stockholders' equity after deducting the Company's common stock dividend declared on November 12, 2015, which was paid on December 9, 2015, less the preferred stock liquidation preference, divided by the number of common shares outstanding as of month end.  The estimated net book value is unaudited and has not been verified or reviewed by any third party.  The Company's current net book value may also be materially different from its estimated net book value as of November 30, 2015.  The Company undertakes no obligation to update or revise its estimated net book value.
